The Grand Budapest Hotel [Movie Review]

Wow, WHAT a great movie. Wes Andersen makes everything look so aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The characters were so extremely likeable. The plot was really interesting.

I like his filming style. Very unique. I cried when Zero was telling him about his background. The whole film was amazing, I did not look away from the screen once.

It really is an art in choreography and cinematography. The style of the film is very cool, very absurd, kinda weird and colourful. Every detail is flawless.

5/5.

Big Hero 5

I forced my cousins to watch this instead of Annie. Could you imagine how painful it would be to watch that movie?

It was crowded at Southbank Cineplex. We were first to line up and got the best seats.

I enjoyed this movie. It was a pretty funny cartoon.

The big fat thing was really silly and funny.

It got kinda dark when his brother dies, but whatev. LOL

Could she be the same girl from Wreck it Ralph??

Honey Lemon is such a cute pretty character :3

There was a short film called "Feast" at the start, because Disney, and I honestly teared up HAHA..

Anyway, solid movie. 3/5. No regrets.

The Future

First of all, let me be completely BLUNT.

I am not a huge cinema geek, and it doesn't take one know..but this movie was extremely boring, slow and weird.

Not the good type of weird. Kind of like, huh?? what??

The WHAT-THE-FUCK-KIND-OF-SHITERY IS THIS?! Weird. And the guy talks to the moon...and..

Be prepared to look at this same shot for 10 minutes at various parts of the film and hear a cat talk.

The cat fucking talks at the start for 10 whole minutes with this graspy-ass annoying voice, and from my experience, any movie (not cartoon) with fucking talking animals is bound to be terrible. I.e. that Beverly Hills Chihuahua movie, Hotel for Dogs.. Etc. I would name more, but you kinda get the deal.

I wanted this film to get more exciting, but it didn't. Huge disappointment.
I really don't see why this movie was awarded Sundance best film or whatever.
Maybe this movie is too avant-garde for me or something, but I found it to be total flop.

Safety Not Guaranteed

I really liked this movie.
A really quaint movie. I really like the actress, she's pretty awkward. And Nick from New Girl.
It's a comedy movie but it's better than 1/2 the rom-coms out there.
Extremely interesting. It's laugh-out-loud funny without having to try hard.

And when the dude played the guitar thing, it was a good moment. And the small snippet at the end made me tear up a little at the back of my eyeballs.

Didn't expect it to be this good.

ON SCREEN: Blended

I managed to laugh every time he appears.

Went to Southbank cinemas with the cuzzes and watched Blended. It was actually better than I expected. The cinema was almost full. I originally wanted to watch The Fault in our stars to see what all the fuss was about, heard it was a tear jerker, and I admittedly haven't read the book (maybe like 1/18 of it on my phone) but who the hell cares. I still haven't watched Frozen. And people keep singing that annoying snowman sing and telling let it go jokes. Big fat sigh.
