March: weekly update #1

I'll try to blog more, since I enjoy it but it's hard with all this studying.

Lately I've been listening a lot to random obscure/unknown artists...
  1. Medicine Beat - Joji. I just really like this song, not only because it was made by the incredibly disgusting~ filthy frank/Joji-senpai ~~ but I think it holds sentimental value. Plus the sick beat. And also its one of those songs where you can look out the train window and think bout life.
  2. Of A Thursday- Michael Cera. I find his music really unique.. This one is a solo piano, but sometimes you don't need words to imagine- It's not happy, not sad either, it just makes you think and paint your own picture in your mind
  3. Clay Pigeons- Michael Cera. Obsessed. And it's such a cute song.
  4. Gaze- Bbbrendan. Just randomly came across this kid from Boston, USA on Soundcloud. Really getting into that punk rock sound
A fact of life: There are some really shitty days and of course, there are some good ones. Yesterday was one of them. Here's some reasons why it wasn't shitty:
  1. I didn't miss my bus. With expert timing.
  2. I was super early for my early class. Which was rare.
  3. I was with my group preparing for our speech and I came up with the most ridiculous/genius ideas to make it more "interactive", so I said "Oh! I've got an idea.." and I started laughing so much I couldn't even START explain it. This happened a couple of times. They must think I'm on some type of morphine/weed/ other drug. The thing was I couldn't keep it together. I physically cannot stop myself from laughing. And that's why it was good, uncontrollable laughter. Even if it's something silly. And also I really like my group. Luckily, they laughed with me (not at me, hopefully) because laughing is contagious and releases all those feel-good endorphins you get from exercise/sex and +other happy chemicals (and also reducing pain!), it's just science.
  4. I caught up with my old friends (and made a new one) at the train station and rode the train with them while having some fun conversations. My friend who was studying Paramedics was talking about the sternum rub and he accidentally said "Scrotum rub" and me and Bianna (we just got along straight away!!) started cracking up. I died. So now we have a new greeting. It's beautiful how inside jokes form. And how a random meeting with an old friend can lift your spirits.
Speaking about spirits, I think I found my new go-to drink: Move along ciders.. You'll always be in my heart, but it now goes to Vodka, lemon lime bitters~ since Tuesday. That's my update for the week.
