"Little Nyonya Singapore" Review

Located at Eight Miles Plains is a sister restaurant of Little Singapore, except a little bit more fancy with Yum-cha round tables that sits 10 people with a lazy susan. Although the decor looks killer, the food surely disappoints.

There was 5 people and we were seated at the large table designed for 10 people. It felt really distant.

The first thing we ordered is the duck skin (with a bit of meat) on prawn crackers and they gave us some sort of half-cooked spring roll pastry and cucumber and green onion thing.

I assume this is what you do with it, so I wrapped it around like a taco. Nevertheless, it was really good, tasty even. The duck was crispy and perfect and everything seemed to go well together. The sauce was great too. It was unique. Best dish of the night no doubt (but it all goes downhill from here.)

Combination seafood noodle was ..eh. Nothing special. nothing you can't get at a regular Chinese takeaway shop.

This crispy noodle with shredded duck meat was just boring. I'm not a fan of crispy noodles anyway.
What a waste of duck in my opinion.

Pork belly and BBQ pork.
This was painfully average. I'm so sorry. It's so ordinary for me, am I too harsh on Asian restaurants?

Overall, OK service, mediocre asian food, reasonably priced, disappointing, great decor.

1.75/5.
