"The Boys" House of Coffee Review

Situated down death hill at QUT KG Campus is a quaint cafe that plays The Smiths.

Three words. Best. Cornbread. Ever.

A sudden turn of events that led me to discover and to try the majestic wonder-food— that is,  corn bread.

The price was mid-range (around $15) and service was friendly.

I think my dish kicked my boyfriend's dish in the face. Really hard.

It's how I always imagined corn bread to be/taste like; crispy, crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle, subtly sweet... it was just.... perfect, words simply cannot describe.

I like how all the elements on the plate came together perfectly and everything seemed freshly prepared. And just take a look at that haloumi cheese in its natural resting position, quietly sleeping on the bed of avocado, salad and cherry tomato. And that sauce, not sure what it was, but it was also choice.

Chai lattes was en pointe.

Delicious in every angle.

If you haven't tried cornbread, my friend, you are missing out.

5/5. Best brunch on campus.
