Sunnybank $2 Food Trail: Winter Mission Edition


"The ultimate self-guided foodie adventure"

Arrived around 5.30pm at Sunnybank Plaza.
We grabbed one of these brochures from the info stand with a map and names of stores. 


Goal: Collect 4 stamps. 
Eat 4 $2 things worth $8.

Keeping an eye out for these signs!
First stop: Coco Jungle
Goal: Churros!

Verdict: SOLD OUT
*cries*


First (real) stop: Rainbow Ice Tea
Queue: Small
Goal: Milk tea with pearls 

Verdict: Delicious.

L: Bukkake noodles, R: Kake noodle soup
Second stop: "Mappen" Japanese Noodle Bar
Queue: Non existent.. 
Goal: Bukkake noodles. ;)

Verdict: Beaut. 10/10 money's worth. Quite filling?

Crowded.
L-R: Cheesecake, taro, mango. 
Third stop: BerryMe
Queue: Quick moving 2-3 people
Goal: Fro-yo in a cone

Verdict: Scrumptious.

Walked to the other side.. Hana Zushi.. SOLD OUT



Last stop: Cafe Mi 
Goal: Egg custard tart
Queue: Long wait.
Verdict: Egg tart SOLD OUT, got BBQ pork instead.. was good.

Mission accomplished!

I really wanted hot cakes but the queue was absolutely insane!

Tip for next time: Plan what you wanna eat. Go a bit early to avoid massive queues and sold outs.
