Excuse the late post.

ARTSY.

Wednesday- slept in for my lecture so I went to GOMA with Bessie. Went into the museum while I was waiting for her. We walked around looking for a place to eat (it's both a huge chore, nothing worse than two indecisive people). I guess that goes the same for two stubborn people. Always down for food though! I LOVE FOOD

Ate lunch, I hate being rushed, esp when eating it's the worst! You need time to eat! and digest!.... then rushed to uni to met up with my group. Which was just this one girl from Norway named Stine. The other dude dropped out and left us (sad..) However of course I did the bulk of the work. (Update: turns out we got a 5 on speech.. cry..).

Ate breakfast with Liam at the Boys and drank coffee. Also we were holding hands and he put this sheet of fake money paper that I scrunched up in the middle of our hands and said “it’s our secret” so that was kinda cute and silly. The other day we got turkish bread (yummm..the BEsT) and drank coffee (YuM) at our "subway eating place" up the hill where it's quiet and then a cute dog came and we patted it.

I made a friend! Yay. She’s nice. I feel this is always something to celebrate because I'm mostly horrible at it and I can spot bad vibes.

Can’t really tell what ethnicity she is but we were just in the same reflection class. And after it was a bit awkward walking to the bus stop but I caught up with her and we sat together. Oh yay.

How to make friends 101. Other times I have the social skills of a doormat and am far too introverted than is likely healthy.

Met up with Mich and Bessie at the new Miss Kay’s burger place. I wish I ordered something but I already ate. (I totes will order that mac and cheese burger next time.)

I wanted to order a Rekorderlig cider but it was $$ so skipped that. Always up for that alcohol buddy. AHHA but for real though. ACTUALLY

It had a beautiful bathroom. And then got Bubble tea at Gongcha. $5 is too expensive for bubble tea. What a rip-off. Go buy a frappe or hungry jacks meal.

Went to Vapiano for a group dinner with one of my high school friend's friends. It was pretty casual. I waited in line with Harry, he's tall so I had to almost stand on my tippy toes to look at him, and we chatted for a bit and then he realised he was in the wrong line, which was funny. I was holding hands, third-wheeling with Kim and I was adopted their annoying daughter.

Walked around the market, and made some stars. Met this nice girl who taught us how to make it :3

CLIPS FOR $10?! i didn't buy anything though.
But it was nice looking at the stuff people make.

FRIENDS FT MICHAEL CERA

Started my hospital placements this week. My facilitator is scary but sometimes she's cool, I can't figure her out but I'm glad she came and saved me, pretty sure we had "best friends" moments.

My start time is a bit odd because I'm literally in the middle of it all.  On the last week I worked mornings with Katie my bud, and it was easy breezy. We get along so well, the other QUT students are just.....and she ripped off my band-aid for me bc I was scared of doing it myself after we got the flu vacc. So that was an intimate moment for both of us.

Florence, and most of the night shift staff.. especially the Aussie lady with the lipstick (forgot her name) she's just lovely, my angel, love her, she actually saved me! it's just nice when someone has faith in you.

I did a lot of subcutaneous injections! Wasn't even scary at all. Chennesai she's awesome, my favourite (reminded me of Lavern from Scrubs) HAHA, helped me nail my progress note! All these shoutouts.

Prac was wonderful though, I learnt a lot.

Those times they bought in food at the staff room. AMAZIN.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 

It started with Krispy kreme original glazed donuts, sponge cake with fresh creme from COLES. WHATT I NEED THIS MORE IN MY LIFE, motherfucking 5 boxes of quality PIZZA... *best part of prac*
HOWEVER Definitely a huge learning curve. Met a lot of new and different people. Had some challenges. Good times and had some nice chat times with the oldies. I'm so ready for the next one.
