Brisbane Powerhouse: Pajama Men

What once was literally a Powerhouse turned into a venue for entertainment and art.

The beautiful view of the river and some rich people's houses and boats.

Such a cool/hip venue in New Farm. Brisbane Powerhouse is the perfect place to unwind and spend your weeknights at. And only about 10 minutes away from the CBD. You can take the bus or go on a fun ferry ride.

I've gone here twice before. First time was to see The Axis of Awesome- you may know them famous for the 4 chord song. And comedy, The Hermitude of Angus, Ecstatic. We were going there for the Brisbane Comedy Festival.

Free WiFi. Free water. Free photo booth. Right by the river, what more could you ask for?

I was at the back.
My brother had two extra tickets to see Pajama Men, and for those who don't know- they are an American comedy duo who tells stories for bedtime, they act out all sorts of sketches and plays, using only themselves and two chairs. And there's one guy at the side that plays all the instruments.

It was really creative, everything from the storyline, the characters, the transitions. It was hilarious. And the fact that there's people laughing with you makes it even a greater experience.

They kept some elements of the powehouse.
That's a nice tunnel.

Afterwards we headed to the ferry and made our venture to Eat Street Markets (Hamilton)..in my next blog post.

They have free stand-up comedy and improv every Friday night, so why not make that a thing to do?
