The hype was high so we were expecting it to be really good. There was a 20 min waiting time so we just walked around hardware lane first, hired a locker to dump our bags and came back.
We were seated inside, decor was cute. A flamboyant fabulously gay guy greeted us with "Hi ladies!" with a big smile and sat down with us when we ordered. The service there was one of the friendliest.
Food didn't take too long to arrive. It was presented in a cute clay pot with 3 small slices of sourdough with a light drizzle of olive oil. First bite was alright, oo this is kinda nice, but I have to be honest, it did get very rank very quickly, I couldn't finish the whole dish because after a while I got repulsed by the dish as the duck and egg+other things mixed together was too much and personally, it just became this nauseated gross smelly mess. Maybe baked eggs ain't my thing?
We ordered our coffees (4.5$). I got the flat white. The coffee beans were from Padre and the coffee was darn good!! I ordered the baked eggs- trois- with confit duck (19$)
Overall, I wasn't too impressed with the food. Great service and good coffee was the saving grace. Maybe next time I'll order the lobster eggs bene but it was $26. huehue. money troublessss.. regrats...The free jam on the table was good though.
