Little Singapore

A review of small Singaporean restaurant located at the end of Elizabeth Arcade.

We went around 3PM for lunch. I went to a smaller version of the same restaurant a few months ago near Albert Lane and had a slightly mediocre experience.

The Roti was the best thing ever, absolutely perfect, crisp, crunchy and soft. Definitely my favourite out of the dishes. Two chicken pieces in the curry are simply not enough.east  There was potato in it and top right is a cold chickpea and potato thing, and some kimchi thingy on the left.
The pink stuff is a refreshing yogurt sauce, yum also.

We ordered one combination Laksa, which is a spicy soup with coconut milk I believe and vermicelli noodles. and seriously, this bowl is HUGE. It was really good, second fav. I was worried about chilliness, but it isn't really chilli at all.

The noodles with duck was really good. It had a black sauce thing, you'd expect it to be salty, but it's not salty at all, just balanced. The duck was on point, skin slightly crispy which is good.

The other dish was a fish in some sort of curry sauce with rice, probably the least exciting dish of the day.

Drink menu was impressive with lots of bubble tea for around $4.20. Cinnamon milk tea was a "summer special" for $2, I added pearls for an extra 50c. It was good, tasted like a yummy candle.
The other drink was yogurt green tea with aloe vera. Kinda weird but, still, okay. It was $2.

Total: Less than $55 to feed 5 people and order 4 dishes plus two drinks. Decent price.

Overall, reasonable prices, the service was OK. (not great), great portions.

Verdict: 3/5 ★★★☆☆
Defo coming back for the roti. If you're going here, order the Laksa and roti, you will have no regrets.
