Was told to do more "beauty" posts, for the ladies (and boys too I guess- I won't judge, that's cool too) so today, I'm gonna do a quick review/swatch of Essie nail polish.
Got this as a gift from Nadi. These come in a three pack. Very small and very cute. AND I FOR ONE, I LOVE CUTE SMALL THINGS. I've never been one of those girls completely obsessed with painted nails or nail art. I just prefer doing colour. Partly because I'm unsteady/uncoordinated and untalented but that's another story.
For those who don't know, Essie is a pretty fucking expensive nail polish brand. Around the same ball game as OPI. Not fucking around, but, like $17 at Priceline for a normal-sized bottle for some artsy chemicals on your fingers. Why? Because it's.. Made in France. (*and other stuff too, but mostly because France) Ooh la la. Each of the petit le bottles are 5mL. I mean, come to think of it, I've never finished a whole bottle of nail polish before.
So ANYWAY. Without further or do? I will paint thy nails with thine colours.

The first colour I tried is a green colour called "ruffles and feathers".
The green colour is not too dark, not too Shrek-like. Although I admit, not the most flattering of colours. I applied two coats. No base coat. No top coat. You can still see it's a bit opaque.
Ze second colour is an Orange one called "roarrrange". Smart. Clever. I see what they did there. I think this is my favourite. It's actually not as bright in the picture, but still it's nice. I applied one coat which seems to do the job. Seems thicker than the green. No base and no top coat.
*UPDATE: I will test out the pink colour later. I only have 2 hands.
The brush is perfectly shaped for easy application! One of the best brushes, no streaks. Very quick drying. A formula that lasts a long time without chipping.
Overall, magnifique! 5/5. Amour! Happy painting, honhon. Anyway, Bye! ♡
